Richelle Young

Richelle Young first came to yoga for the workout and, like many, out of a desire to “be more flexible.” What kept her coming back wasn’t just the sweat but the people, the connection to herself and others, and the way the practice challenged her mentally as much as physically. Her journey deepened when she completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training, which she describes as life-changing. Today, Richelle brings her love of yoga into the children’s space, where she creates classes filled with breath, movement, play, and art. Kids leave her classes not only having moved their bodies but also having expressed themselves creatively and joyfully. Richelle believes deeply in the importance of yoga at every age. For her, the foundational principles of the practice are essential tools for children as they grow up in a fast-paced, often overwhelming world. She loves to see young people discover agency and connection through yoga - sometimes even leading the class themselves.

Outside the studio, Richelle is fueled by her family and finds joy in watching her children do what they love. She also enjoys being outdoors, traveling, going to the beach, and finding great places to eat. Her anchor is the wisdom of Ram Dass: “We are all just walking each other home.”
