Back in April of 2012, we flung open the doors of Grace & Glory Yoga with a bold idea: yoga should be for every body. Not just the flexible, not just the “wellness crowd,” and definitely not just people who look a certain way in yoga pants. Since then, thousands of humans have walked through our doors - CEOs, teachers, parents, teenagers, folks in recovery, first-timers who swore they were “too tight for yoga” (spoiler: they weren’t) - and discovered something bigger than a workout. They discovered a community.

What sets us apart? Sure, we teach strong, sweaty vinyasa and soul-soothing yin, but our practice is rooted in more than movement. We blend ancient yogic philosophy with modern science -  neurobiology, psychology, and the kind of leadership tools you’d usually find in an MBA program. We’re anchored in the Yamas and Niyamas, fueled by service (seva), and serious about accountability. Translation: we practice what we preach, and we believe leadership is an inside job.

We take our cues from wisdom teachers such as: BKS Iyengar, Ram Dass, Parker J. Palmer, Richard Rohr, Gregory Boyle, Brené Brown, T.K.V. Desikachar, Thích Nhất Hạnh, Desmond Tutu, Bessel van der Kolk, Mihály Csíkszentmihályi, Michelle C. Johnson, Eddie Stern, Rolf Gates, Susanne Conrad, Bernie Clark, and Baron Baptiste - just to name a few.

Grace & Glory has become the place in Southern New Jersey where yoga meets real life - where philosophy, sweat, and community collide in the best way. Our culture is built on belonging, and our studio is a refuge, especially for folks navigating all kinds of recovery - in the active work of reclaiming themselves with the stigma. We believe yoga isn’t about touching your toes - it’s about how you lead your life once you roll up your mat.
