Co-Owner | Creative Principal | Faculty Team

From visual storytelling to community leadership, Ray moves fluidly with ease and simplicity - here to remind you that power comes from stripping the practice down to brass tacks.

Ray Nunzi is the co-owner of Grace & Glory Yoga and Creative Principal at Nunzi Media. A professional photographer and videographer with a BFA from Stockton University, Ray loves the craft of yoga for the same reason he loves photography: both strike a delicate balance between science and art. His classes are known for being simple - in the very best way - and precise. No fluff, just presence. When his lifelong friend Allie opened Grace & Glory Yoga in 2012, Ray designed the studio’s very first logo. A year later, he boarded a flight to Kenya and completed his 200HR Teacher Training with Africa Yoga Project. His yoga teacher friend soon became his partner in life: Allie, now his wife and co-owner of GGY, and mother of their two daughters, Joey and Lucy. Ray’s journey into yoga has always been about connection - whether through creative work, teaching, or community building. He brings curiosity, clarity, and honesty into the studio, making practice accessible, strong, and direct.

Ray’s classes are stripped down to the essentials: simple and powerful. He teaches with precision and honesty, reminding students that yoga isn’t about performance - it’s about presence.

Ray also holds a BFA from Stockton University and has worked as a professional photographer and videographer for his entire adult life. His creative work is grounded in capturing authentic stories through imagery and film. In 2013, he completed my 200HR Yoga Teacher Training with Africa Yoga Project in Nairobi, Kenya, which deepened his personal and professional commitment to yoga, leadership, and service.

Ray lives his life just like he leads his classes: Simple, clear, and no fluff.

  • Your practice will always be evolving - let it.

  • Listen to your body as you practice and let that guide your way.

  • Classes can and should be interactive - ask questions, share what you’re curious about, let’s be collaaborative - let’s learn together!
