Mary Kate “MK” Wadele first found yoga in 2012 while working at lululemon, where a hot power class set to “Dirty Paws” by Of Monsters and Men struck something deep within her. From that day forward, the practice held her heart, mind, and body. She completed her 200-hour certification with Lyons Den Power Yoga and brings high energy, fiery sequencing, and intentional spaciousness to every class. Students can expect to be challenged and empowered, encouraged to look inward, and invited to take up space freely and proudly. Music is an essential part of MK’s teaching - her playlists are curated with
care and intention to create a moving experience. For MK, yoga is about people and presence: the familiar faces that light up a room, the privilege of sharing this practice, and the joy of being together in community. Her greatest hope is that students leave feeling stronger than when they arrived - reminded of their own capacity for resilience, possibility, and action.
Beyond the mat, MK finds joy in running the boardwalk at sunrise with a pumping playlist, time with her fiancé, her dog Banks, her nieces and nephews, and her big family of five siblings. She treasures farmers markets, baked goods, and conversations that go straight to the soul.
Her mantra: Take action. Nothing will change if nothing changes.
