Michael “Mike” Pagliughi has been rolling out his mat at Grace & Glory Yoga since the doors first opened over 12 years ago. Though his practice was sometimes on-again, off-again, it was never far away. As a former athlete (runner), surfer, mountain biker, State Police Officer, and now father of three, yoga was always there when he needed to check back in. In 2023, Mike completed his 200-hour Teacher Training at Grace & Glory Yoga, a milestone that opened doors he never could have predicted. He made the life-changing decision to conclude his public service as a police officer and step into a new chapter - one focused on supporting people who live with occupational-related trauma.
Today, he not only teaches at Grace & Glory, but also serves as a mindfulness teacher in local recovery and community centers. Mike brings a grounded presence, charisma, and an unmatched love of music into every class. His playlists are legendary, weaving together Radiohead, Nightmares on Wax, and obscure deep cuts that turn a flow into a full-body soundtrack. He is also a strong advocate for authenticity and honesty as the foundation of healing - on and off the mat. His teaching balances strength and mindfulness, encouraging students to show up truthfully, breathe deeply, and create space for breakthroughs. Outside the studio, Mike works as a real estate agent - bringing his natural
charisma and people-first focus to helping clients buy and sell homes. He’s also a frequent traveler to Costa Rica, where he recharges and reconnects. Above all, his most important role is dad to Zach, Felix, and Greta.
For Mike, yoga is more than poses - it’s a practice of presence, truth, service, and joy that has carried him through life’s many chapters.
