Lucas jokes about not being a “person of labor” - however he certainly is passionate about building bridges between individuals, within communities, and through the healing practices of yoga and leadership development.
Lucas first walked into Grace & Glory Yoga in 2022 feeling disconnected and a little lost. What he found on his mat - and within this community - was a spark that shifted everything. Through his 40 Days program, his volunteer work on team, and eventually the participating in Teacher Leadership Development Program, Lucas discovered the balance of being both a leader and a forever student. A 200HR Certified Power Yoga Teacher with additional Yin training, Lucas serves on the Grace & Glory School of Yoga faculty, apprenticing as a facilitator and leading with curiosity, compassion, and courage. His teaching style is rooted in simplicity, fun, and togetherness.
He is known for placing mats close to one another, encouraging conversations before class, and reminding everyone that practice is not a solo pursuit - it’s something we share. Outside the studio, Lucas is pursuing his Master’s in Clinical Social Work at Rutgers while working as a 9th grade social work intern in Camden. He thrives on connection, advocacy, and building spaces where people feel seen and supported. A Philly-based “beach boy at heart,” Lucas can often be found at concerts, exploring the outdoors, or capturing life on film. For Lucas, yoga is a reminder to get out of the head and into the body. His classes offer exactly that - a return to presence, community, and discovery.
Yoga is better with friends.
Lucas teaches to build connection - between breath, body, and community.
