Leanne Taylor first came to yoga at the suggestion of her therapist as a way to manage anxiety. At the time, sitting still, breathing deeply, and listening inwardly felt unfamiliar and challenging. But she quickly fell in love with the sense of relief, the quieting of symptoms, and the deeper connection to herself that yoga made possible. Over the years, Leanne has trained in Yin, Kripalu, and Power Vinyasa Yoga and is also a Master Level Reiki practitioner. A lover of yogic philosophy, she weaves depth, meaning, and energetic awareness into her classes. Students can expect to feel valued, supported, and guided toward greater presence, with particular attention to physical and energetic sensations.
Her favorite part of teaching is connection - holding space where students feel safe and welcomed. She hopes her classes invite students to trust their bodies, listen inwardly, and embrace self-love. Off the mat, she enjoys spending time in nature, being with her children, and playing with her rescue pit puppies. Her guiding reminder, borrowed from Ram Dass: “We are all just walking each other home.”
Leanne leads the Friday night Sisterhood Satsang at The Leadership Studio in Atlantic City for women of all ages seeking supportive, recovery-informed, community.
No matter what role she is in, from reiki master, to recovering addict, to yogi, Leanne is steady in guiding anyone in her path to feel safe, supported, and seen.
