Jackie Rendfrey first came to yoga seeking peace and a sense of control during a season of anxiety. She was drawn to the calm she saw in others who practiced, and what made her stay was the way yoga deepened her understanding of herself and the world around her. The more she learned - about yoga’s foundations, and its psychological, neurological, and physiological benefits - the more she knew this was a lifelong practice. She recently completed her 200-hour teacher training, inspired early on by John Vitale and, more recently, by Grace & Glory teachers like Allie, Paige, Nick, and Ray. Her teaching style is still unfolding, but students can expect positive energy, connection, and descriptive, feedback-rich classes. With her background in anatomy, neuroscience, and communication as a speech-language pathologist, Jackie brings both science and soul to the mat—equipping students with useful insights while creating a space of warmth and encouragement. For Jackie, Grace & Glory feels like home. She loves the sense of community where everyone is rooting for one another, where curiosity fuels constant growth, and where love for the practice radiates beyond the mat.
Her hope is that students leave her classes not just with a greater understanding of yoga, but also with a sense of connection - like family. Off the mat, Jackie’s greatest joy is being mom to her four children. She also thrives in service, whether at her church, coaching cheerleaders, supporting her kids’ school, or helping patients navigate recovery from persistent TBI symptoms. Her guiding belief: “Everything happens for a reason.”
A fun fact? Jackie loves to dance - her kitchen performances are legendary, even if they score high on the “mom embarrassment” scale with her teens.
