From athlete to yogi, Emma Bergman is here to deliver the practice on and off the mat with grit and grace - a balance of pushing past limits and softening into self-acceptance.

Emma Bergman is a champion athlete turned mental health advocate and yoga teacher. She first found yoga in high school, but it wasn’t until her years as a Division I cross country and track athlete at Rutgers that the practice became a lifeline. Weekly yoga sessions with her team gave her a rare moment to breathe, reset, and connect beyond the constant demands of being a student-athlete. Those moments became a beacon during her own struggles with the pressure to perform. After graduation, Emma returned to Grace & Glory Yoga with her mom and stepped into the 40 Days to a Personal Revolution program just after Covid-19. What she found was not just a practice, but a community and a mirror—reflecting back her strength, vulnerability, and possibility.

Today, Emma teaches yoga with the same grit and grace that carried her through athletics: a balance of effort and ease, challenge and compassion. Students know her classes will push them to grow while grounding them in radical self-acceptance. Off the mat, you’ll find Emma at the beach—running, surfing, chasing sea glass, or walking with her fiancé at sunset.

Whether in the studio or on the shore, she’s devoted to helping others feel seen, safe, and empowered.

Her favorite reminder: “Be still and know.”
