Emily Fitzpatrick, PT and DPT, is a faculty member of the Grace & Glory School of Yoga. She blends anatomy and energy, offering classes that are grounding, healing, and connective.

Emily Fitzpatrick is a member of the Grace & Glory School of Yoga Faculty and one of the community’s most trusted guides in blending the science of the body with the spirit of practice. As a Doctor of Physical Therapy and Yin Yoga teacher, she brings expertise that grounds teaching in safe, embodied, and deeply healing practices. Her journey began after her collegiate field hockey career ended and she was searching for her “next thing.” That first yoga class shifted everything—she left wondering if it was just a workout or something much deeper. It turned out to be both, and so much more. For the first time, she felt challenged and cradled in equal measure, humbled rather than pushed toward perfection. Yoga became her path back to herself.

Emily’s classes invite students to explore the connection between the physical body and the energetic landscape within. Through Yin Yoga and her lens as a physical therapist, she helps students discover the “active state of stillness” and the spaciousness that comes with letting go. Outside the studio, Emily is most at home with her kids - on the water, sharing in discovery, or just being together. And if you’re a Phillies fan, she’ll happily talk baseball between sun salutations.

Her anchor is simple: “Be here now.”

Expect Yin Yoga infused with the science of anatomy and the softness of spirit.

She teaches like she lives - grounded, connected, and ready to cheer you on (especially if you’re a Philly-sports fan).
