Dom is the invitation for practitioners to cultivate discipline, presence, and a deeper connection to purpose.
Dominique “Dom” Rivera’s path to practice traces back to Bodhidharma, the legendary monk who bridged combat and contemplation. With more than 25 years of training in Hung Kuen Kung Fu and nearly two decades immersed in amateur and professional combat disciplines, Dom brings a depth of discipline, presence, and perspective to every class. His yoga journey began with Helen Cloots and the Floating Yoga School, which offered an anchor when he couldn’t make it to the studio. In his teaching,Dom focuses on harmonizing effort with ease and grounding students in functional, intentional movement. Expect a practice that is strong and centered, designed to awaken focus and invite a deeper connection to the Divine within. For Dom, Grace & Glory Yoga and The Leadership Studio are places where good intentions create real opportunities - to do more, to be more, and to live more in alignment.
He’s proof that discipline and devotion can share the same mat.
His classes are equal parts strength and surrender, teaching that the fight was never outside - it’s always been within.
