Camille Rennie is a faculty member of the Grace & Glory School of Yoga, where she brings together her expertise in movement and body wisdom with her deep knowledge of yoga. Her journey into yoga began after the heartbreaking loss of her best friend in a tragic accident. What began as a tentative exploration became a lifelong practice—she stayed for the healing, the clarity, and the profound community she found on her mat.
Camille holds an MFA in Dance and is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200). She is a professional dancer, choreographer, and university professor of dance whose artistry is inseparable from her yoga. Each discipline informs and enriches the other: her movement practice offers precision, creativity, and nuance to her yoga teaching, while her yoga infuses her choreography and pedagogy with presence, breath, and deep listening. Naomi Fox, one of her earliest teachers, deeply shaped her path with her knowledge of yin yoga and holistic wellness, creating a sanctuary and roadmap for Camille to discover her inner world. Now, Camille offers that same sanctuary to her students.
In her classes, students can expect to feel wholly seen and met where they are. She creates spaces of presence, pranayama, meditation, and self-inquiry - an invitation to step into challenge, freedom, and transformation while empowering authentic expression of asana. Camille’s favorite part of Grace & Glory is the unmistakable energy in the room: “It doesn’t matter who you are, where you’re coming from, whether you complete every pose or sit in child’s pose for 60 minutes - you are received, valued, and appreciated just as you are. The energy here is always rooted in love.”
Beyond the studio, Camille dances with Company of Collaborative Artists (CoCA), tends her garden with her husband, writes at coffee shops, and soaks up sunshine at the beach.
Her guiding mantra? “God is love.”
