To work as a GGY Teacher, you will need at minimum a 200 Hour Certification, a year’s worth of teaching experience, and have embodied knowledge of the history, philosophy, and ethics of yoga, as well mastery in leading a powerful Power Yoga class that caters to all levels and abilities of practitioners.
At Grace & Glory Yoga, ALL are welcome. Your passion for sharing this life changing practice, coupled with your knowledge of yoga anatomy and physiology, will ensure success for both yourself, your team, and your community.
Those wishing to join the Grace & Glory Yoga team should thrive in a team environment and be available for monthly collaborative Team Huddle on the first Tuesday evening of each month. Grace & Glory Yoga teachers are also committed to being Grace & Glory Yoga students with a committed practice on your own mat inside the studios. Memberships at all GGY locations are included in compensation.
Grace & Glory Teacher Requirements
- Minimum 200 Hour Power Vinyasa Yoga Certification
- CPR Certification
- Carries current Professional Liability Insurance
- Mastery in leading a Power Vinyasa Yoga class to beginners & advanced practitioners alike in 60, 75, and 90 minute increments
- Working knowledge of the history, philosophy, and ethics of yoga
- Baseline business/administrative skills and the ability & willingness to learn new systems
- Ability to take on two classes per week (minimum) on evenings and weekends as needed
- Commitment to your own yoga practice (asana, mediation, and inquiry)
- Loves to work as part of a team and has a high level of interest in personal and professional development
- Desire and willingness to contribute to a service-based culture and work environment
